COMPANY PROFILE

For more than 80 years, Kawartha Dairy has been proud to be a 100% Canadian-owned and operated company. In 1937, Jack and Ila Crowe founded the business in Bobcaygeon, Ontario where the Dairy remains headquartered.

Today, Kawartha Dairy operates 10 retail stores and services a wide range of wholesale customers, from major chain retail outlets and food service establishments to family-run grocery stores and ice cream parlours.
Kawartha Dairy processes millions of litres of milk from local dairy farmers into nutritious milk and premium ice cream. Over the last decade, the Dairy has grown significantly, currently employing over 170 full-time employees, with intentions to create nearly 50 FTE jobs by 2025.

Recently, Kawartha Dairy completed its largest expansion project to date; a 54,000 square-foot refrigeration and distribution facility located in the Dairy's hometown.
